Depending on what you like to do, you might find this rather recent configuration model of organisational culture useful (the paper makes reference to other very widely-used organisational culture models) :
A Configuration Model of Organizational Culture

In terms of whether it is widely used, I would say it is a very new model, but the fact that is has been downloaded over 20,000 times (i.e. over 900 times each month) and it receives first citations (11 at the moment) could be a good indicator.
Now, leaving the publication metrics aside: It is far more important what your research purpose and goal is. The above mentioned configuration model and all other models have their specific applications. It would be interesting to know what your purpose is. Maybe you are not looking at organisational culture dynamics, in which case the configuration model of organisational culture might be less useful at times (which is the particular strength of this cybernetic model).
I recommend you to read Jung et al.’s (2009) paper, which provides an overview on the most important instruments for exploring organizational culture. The authors also suggest how selecting an OC model.
For example, in my paper "Successful lean implementation: Organizational culture and soft lean practices" (Bortolotti et al., 2015), I used the GLOBE model (House et al., 2004). Following Jung et al.’s (2009) recommendations, we considered the affinity between House et al.’s (2004) objectives and the aims of our present study. Moreover, GLOBE research is an international collaboration, which guarantees a greater transferability of this model across different settings. We discussed these and other strengths on the GLOBE model in Section 2.1. ‘Organizational culture’ of our paper.

Stefania
