SCM is one method that can be used for inventory control but not the implementation, I use it as an approximation because there is a definite method for the calculation of inventory. SCM has many levels, which I discuss in my research using a 2-level, focused on the company (plant dry rice noodles) and suppliers (manufacturers cornstarch). purpose of this research is to find how many items should be ordered each month by the company and to see the level of economic optimality (between the actual and the method). groove of thinking is: we convert sales data into the raw materials that will be used for the production of dry vermicelli. after that we predict using SPSS 17. after it is calculated starting inventory, order quantity, order quantity, etc..
