If you’re looking for a university that has an enviable record of consistently producing high-quality research, try the Shanghai ranking.
If you’re looking for a university which is well-regarded by employers and other academics, and will set you up perfectly for a well-paid graduate job, the QS World University Ranking should be your first port of call.
And, if you want to see a ranking which attempts to reflect both a university’s research impact and its reputation, the Times Higher Education ranking is worth checking out, as it considers more variables than the other two. Of course, this might mean it provides less specific information that could be useful for you, but it’s good for a broad overview.

Recently, ISC (Islamic World Science Citation Center) also has introduced one. This ranking is based on four factors: Research, Education, International Activity and Innovation .

Basically is attributed to the dynamics of human issues raise and resolved via feasible research which published as role models for other future utilization in the same field. Therefore an institution in forefront to resolving human problems and published such achievement shou be rated higher above passive institutions who are less proactive or indifferent.

Abstract :
In recent years, university ranking is one issue that is increasingly being discussed in higher education and scientometrics literature. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce, compare and analyze the nine indicators of university ranking systems and higher education institutions (SHANGHI, QS, THES, HEEACT, Webometrics, Leiden,Newsweek and Regional Ranking of the Islamic world(ISC). To compare these ranking systems, their results in various years as well as the existing literature have been studied. that the result is that the criteria used in ranking systems of QS, THES, Webometrics are student-centered while the rankings of Shanghai, Leiden and HEEACT are more based on research. There is much similarity between the rankings ompared with the limited scope of the global surface area is greater similarity between the data.
