I currently use TOPO cloning to identify cell populations that have indels from CRISPR. I have also used SURVEYOR mismatch assay. Sometimes I can use genotyping PCR and see bands of different sizes on a gel. This doesn't always work, though, as small indels are difficult to resolve. Has anyone developed a quicker, less expensive way to identify cells with indels?
