What is the method to analyze and report distortion in turbine blade/vane castings?

While measuring distortion of commercial plastic injected components, the warpage/distortion is measured as maximum deviation at the tip of the injected part, as compared to its nominal value against CAD model. From fit, form & function point of view, this method is okay. In the case of turbine blade/vane components which have aerofoil shapes, is there a recommended or practiced or standard method of defining distortion/warpage ?
