I am trying to determine if using a cluster-chip would be feasible for my project to capture freely circulating tumor cells obtained from an aliquot of blood from Zebrafish. The lowest amount I've seen thus far is a 250ul sample filtered through the chip, but even that amount is too high for young zebrafish. What is the theoretical lowest amount possible to use with a chip? Would 10 uL be possible? 100? Something in between?

Thank you for your post. However, I have read those papers, and they don't quite address my question about the minimal amount of blood needed. Do you have have experience with using the microchip?
