I am presently working on a Landsat-8 image and need to know the atmospheric water vapor concentration of my study area.
I know my ambient temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure.
I have attached a link which seems to explain the procedure but i'm unsure of its precision. Hence, my question.

Your water vapour concentration will change with height above your measurement point. In principle most of the equations are exact enough.
The specific humidity in kg of water per kg of dry air can simply be calculated as follows :
w = 0.622Pw/(P - Pw)
where P= Atmospheric pressure
Pw= Partial pressure of water vapour
Or if you know two properties as you mentioned ambient temperature and relative humidity you can locate the point on the psychrometric chart and read the corresponding value of the specific humidity.
