In many articles i found that approximately 40µg/ml (dilution) of PHA has been used for stimulation of lymphocytes. My question is whether this dose is appropriate for lymphocyte activation ?
Preferably what approximate dose of PHA should be used ?. Relevant dose supporting articles are most welcome.

10.0 microgramm of PHA per milliliter (final concentration) is the standard dose for lymphocyte stimulation. 0.5 microgramm per milliliter is minimal effective dose to stimulate lymphocytes in vitro (see RADIATION RESEARCH 159, 109–116 (2003))
