I have been doing experiments on cardiac cells. For imaging i use Fluo4AM dye. But i want to know if the UV laser radiation on to the dye affects the calcium wave in the cells.
I strongly recommend you to check this site: https://www.thermofisher.com/us/en/home/life-science/cell-analysis/labeling-chemistry/fluorescence-spectraviewer.html
As you can see, if you use a laser wavelength of 355 nm, for instance, the relative intensity of your dye will be low (aprox.5%).
