The serum samples were usually recommended to store at low temperatures, say for eg., -20 C. What will be the effect of temperature on insulin levels in the serum samples of diabetic mice?? Meanwhile, is it advisable to carryout insulin-ELISA with the serum samples exposed to room temperature for a period of three days??

Some of the studies report that human insulin vials can be kept at room temperature for 2-4 weeks. Is it advisable???
