Do they speak about the same reality? Have the words the same meaning in art and science? Can we speak about the science of art and can there also be an art of science? On which basis is science making qualification in the field of art? Is it really necessary to look for extraterrestrial life if science and art are aliens for each other? If there would be a common field of science of art would it be the same paradigm? For myself I don’t see any dualism; they are rather complementary, and for me it is one and the same reality.
About 7 years ago I called the fonds for scientific research and I could speak the director by telephone, so I asked the question: how many funds they invested in the reseach of art.
The director answered me: 'nothing, we are going to start right now with Phd in art'.
As the old paradigm of science is fading away and art has its intrinsic laws, mostly unspoken, it is possible that in this century the paradigm of art and science will have a common ground.
Science has always put art under its protection; they published the history of art, they made up the theories which were almost killing the principle or art.
Also art did its research what the science could be between artist, art, public, time and space..
In the new physics all these elements are coming together and consciousness is coming in.
I see and feel the opposition between art and machines and even they started a marriage.
In this century it is possible that we will come to the conclusion that the field of art is an unexplored goldmine for science in general or we will miss it totally.

Science and art naturally overlap. Both are a means of investigation. Both involve ideas, theories, and hypotheses that are tested in places where mind and hand come together—the laboratory and studio. Artists, like scientists, study—materials, people, culture, history, mythology— and learn to transform information into something else. In ancient Greece, the word for art was techne, from which technique and technology are derived—terms that are aptly applied to both scientific and artistic.
In fact I can even go further! Isn't science art? Art has not only moved away from the decorative purpose to involve social engagement and political motives, art is science and science is deeply interwoven with our lives. “After all, what is art? Yes, they fuse into each other.
As one note in the context of the whole composition can have so many meanings, our words don't touch sometimes the right note.
So we are obliged to look for symbols, which are studied in semantics.
It is a miracle that we can understand each other by intuition. And the Tower of Babel is an old but realistic story.
But somewhere there is a space-time where everyone can meet.
The point of departure between science and art is may be different. Art may start from an intuitive idea worked out in detail. So from the general to the peculiar; science may start from a beforehand limited field and tries to find the unified law of everything. Somewhere these ways have to meet in the focus point.
I think that beauty alone is not enough to have a link with each other; a bird can be beautiful and a car, but what have they in common. The problem must laying more deeper I suppose. Although there must be a link between science and art as the history of art is seen as a science in the schoolbooks. But what should they take as the paradigm of art as the idea of art is always changing and follows the inventions in neuroscience and quantum biology. And is the division of art based on the technique as the pointillism movement still acceptable as a classification.
