Hi,
I want to run my auto dock vina which is built in chimera locally. During my trials it was keep saying my pathing was wrong. Then i finally corrected ( i think). however now it is saying my "path is unavailable" on the reply log. Therefore, docking can not be started. I don't get how come the local auto dock vina service be unavailable?
my current path is c:\"Program files(x86)"\"the scripps research institute"\vina\vina.exe

Hi Tunc, be sure about the path of your executable and path of log file. Alternatively you can just place the vina executable into a local folder and try.

I have had the same problem but I do not how you guys based on Tunc comments said that his comments corrected your issue since I run into the same problem and although my path is C:\Program Files (x86)\The Scripps Research Institute\Vina.exe I get error message "UserError: "c:\"Program files(x86)"\"the scripps research institute"\vina\vina.exe" is not an executable
Service 'local:c:\"Program files(x86)"\"the scripps research institute"\vina\vina.exe' is unavailable. See Reply Log for more details." so I do not know what the problem is. Can you give me specific recommendation to correct the path?
After giving an output location and creating a grid box, see below; you will find four options, and one of them is executable location. Set the executable location as C:\Program Files (x86)\The Scripps Research Institute\Vina\vina.exe OR browse and choose the vina.exe file location in C-drive. Click OK, and your docking will be started. (see attached PNG file for better understanding).
