Many scientists try to succeed in a scientific career, but despite being brilliant scientists can often not compete with those students already born with a professor title, i.e. being professional sons. Most professors like their own scientific success and that of their students, i.e. publishing good research, but isn't it the biggest success of a professor to promote professors sons to professorship? Does this document their political influence at a university? What does it mean to those who have no professor as father - should they try to help those kids with a safe career and hope to get a job under such a future professor?
