What is the best way to write it in a scientific journal ?
Is it as maintained above or like : 1.2000, 1.2300, 1.2345, 5.0000
What are the rules for significant figures to detail this type of values?

Dear Anirban, for numbers greater than 1, two decimal places (rounded up) is almost always accurate enough. For percentages of samples of less than 100, some journals advise using one decimal only. I'd also consider displaying such data values in a table, unless there are only a few.
