I would like to store my blot after transferring, i'm just not sure how to do that. I have once tried to leave my blot in PBST over few days and I found that the signal I got after probing wasn't strong as if the protein was washed off the membrance after being kept in the washing buffer. Any Advice?

After transfer, you may let your PVDF membrane air-dry at room temperature. You may want to let it dry between two pieces of whatman paper/blot paper if you want to cover it from dust.
Usually, once these membranes are dry, they can be stored for fairly extended periods of time prior to a western blot. It is important however that you rehydrate your membrane with methanol prior to their use (i.e. blocking and then incubating with your antibody).

I find that the signal is always less if you don't continue with the all the steps of the Western blot process following the transfer step. I will admit that I do not use PVDF, as I have gotten better results using nitrocellulose. Most people who want to retain their membranes allow them to dry out well before storing them at 4C.
