The neurospheres are washed off during the fixation and washing steps. I need a better way to let them adhere on the surface and then perform the steps.
Another option is to use a cytospin if you have access to one. You can use this to directly spin your floating neurospheres onto poly-l-lysine slides, fix the spheres and then proceed as normal with staining. Very easy but depends on whether you have access to a cytospin machine.

Hi Sean, Thanks. I have tried with laminin but I lost the spheres during the fixing or washing steps. In regard to second option, Would centrifugation affect the sphere morphology?
