I've come across several storage recommendations for TMB in DMSO. I want to make 1 mL aliquots and store them frozen (-20C). I'm hoping this minimizes the time we need to wait for the solution to thaw and maximizes the life of the stock solution. Does that sound reasonable? Or is there a better option for this solution? Thank you!
This sounds totally reasonable. In my experience, TMB/DMSO stored at -20°C always worked perfectly well (and besides if a problem occurs in an ELISA it's rarely due to the TMB). You may consider doing smaller aliquots to avoid freeze-thawing (and to have quicker thawing too), but I guess you already took this into account. That being said, if there is a better solution I am of course interested as well !
