What is the best remediation schedule/practice for human epidermal infection caused by dermatophyte (Trichophyton rubrum) in tropical humid-sub humid conditions?
Pharmacologic remedy: Local Clotrimazole 1% cream or Miconazole nitrate cream twice a day application for at lest 4 weeks for localized infection. If associated with nail infection, then oral medicines like Itraconazole or terbinafine . Non-pharmacologic measures are equally important in humid climate, like keeping skin dry, keep wiping sweat, use loose cotton clothes etc.
