What is the best method to store midbrain 40 micron thick cryosections on gelatin coated slides, to process them for Immunohistochemistry?

Currently I store the sections at 2-8 degree C for short term storage and -4 degree C for long term storage. Do we need to store them in -20 degree C for long term or for both long term and short term? or -80? if I store them at -20 or -80, whether it'll affect the antigenecity?
