Lysotracker staining on frozen tissue sections on slides?

I would like to stain the lysosomes of adipose tissue sections I have already collected on slides. I am aware that Lysotracker probes are primarily for live cells however I was directed by PI that it can be done on frozen tissue sections as long I fix the tissue sections after staining. I have a rough protocol below but if anyone has had success with doing this I would appreciate some guidance please and thank you.

Air dry

Wash 1X PBS 5 minutes

Lysotracker Red DND 99 50nM 1 hour at 37 degrees

Wash with 1X PBS 2 minutes

Fix with 4% PFA 10 minutes

Wash 1X PBS 3x 5 minutes

Mount with DAPI and Glycerol Medium
