Is it possible to perform a DNA extraction in MagNA Pure robot without the original reagents? If not, what is the best isolation kit for DNA extraction from plants?

unfortunately you have to use the original cartridges with the reagents by Roche. They are already optimized. Why not ask the company if they have any suggestions for your project? Before adding your sample to the cartridge, however, I would suggest a mechanical disruption of your plants. Liquid nitrogen and/ or beads work very well.

Thank you so much for your answers, I found a paper sponsored by Roche. The authors suggest the MagNA Pure LC DNA Isolation kit I (1), for this, is necessary mechanical disruption the tissue as Dirk Schmidt suggests.
