I am going to use internal standard method to determine the concentration of capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin in my samples. Is there any suggestion of any internal standard? Any suggestions I would really appreciate.
Internal standard refers to spiking your sample with analyte of interesr/s in ultra pure form such that the increase in the peak area is in itself is a measure of the concentration as well as it confirms the presence of the desired analyte in the sample in question.
