Highly effective research consists of those fruits of logically sound argumentation which can be used as springboards or launching pads for other scholars in the relevant field for further exploration of topics.
Highly effective research should be comprehensible, accessible, citable, reviewed, and applicable. Also, data should be accurate and verifiable by others, as well as research methods, results and conclusions should be presented clearly.
The research which can lead to solve any serious problem of the residents of the globe can be called as highly effective research.
As per the available records, all the presently used antibiotics are losing their efficacy in such a speed that every antibiotic may be ineffective in near future.
Searching of alternative to antibiotics may be considered as a highly effective research in future.

To be highly effective research, it is not necessary to be an applied research, it can also be a theoretical research as well.
