Enthusiasm for reforming the business environment is based on the assumption that it will lead, at least in part, to increased turnover and/or profits for firms.
Depends what consider under "reform" - it can be of a kind that doesn't have any impact on turnover or profits, for example if it is in nonprofit or public sector, it can impact quality of life bur not necessarily the profits in the business sector. Or, the worst case, if reforms are of a kind that negatively impact business, like we had with transition process in Croatia.
It may lead to higher workplace satisfaction and labor health; the profit rate itself is based on innovation strategies, concerning new products and services, which fulfill human needs or demands better than before.

Yes, off course, the business environment is based on the assumption that it will lead to development of small and medium enterprises wich create new employment and increased profit. I live in countries with very bad business environment for Entreprenurship becouse of transition to market economy.
It is the environment which plays an very important part for our individual happiness,growth & other development . As to the development even though we talk regarding our office but before leaving of the office family environment also plays a part of improvement ,or otherwise of the action .
With this environment indirectly relates directly with the mental involvement & in this case for the individual person concern in the favorable situation we can make a good progress in the development of his career including indirect way for the company .
It is the Management team which are responsible for creating & pleasurable & healthy environment in the company which certainly may have an influence in the growth & development of the company . Management have with them the decision policy which keep in mind , the welfare of labor , & also jr employees & thru healthy ,H.r.D policy joining with personnel department may find out the working environment for the betterment of the employees both in relation to the finance & welfare of the employees . An under this situation turnover & profit of the organization are bound to take place .
