You are right that BMW should be included into the syllabus of EVS, as far as I know it is already in graduation students syllabus. In my institute also there is provision for EVS project. Faculty used to take them some biodiversity park, gave them assignments on recent topics of EVS.

This is a vast and important part of a medical institute or industries....there is certain guidelines to be mandate for certain hospital those are accrediated by NABH or NABL or GMP certified like....

There are now strict regulations on this subject in India. Implementation at some places may be slack due to lack of monitoring, but it is only a matter of time before it is tightened-up.
