Hello folks!
I wish to administer Doxorubicin to mice via the IP route (4 doses, with 3-day intervals). I wanted to know what would be a safe dilution of Doxorubicin (dissolved in DMSO) in PBS to prevent DMSO-related toxicity?
I read that ideally, DMSO should be less than 10% in the injected solution. However, my calculations (based on the maximum solubility of Doxorubicin in DMSO, i.e., 10 mg/mL, and the amount of liquid I want to inject, i.e., 100 μL) yield a 12.5% DMSO fraction. Would it be okay?
