90 % of CRC are caused by the diet and microbiome etc. if they are not hereditary and by other reasons.
And microbiology of human gut and its interaction in the disease development is not well studied and conclusive.
But there is a little bit indication available that sulphate reducers and methanogens in gut are associated with the incidence of CRCs. But the studies are in the stage of might be, may be or possibly. A detailed study is required to understand the microbial interaction in gut.
And in terms of positive, acetogenic bacteria are associated with the healthy gut. So, roughly it can be said that higher acetogenic community proportions, less the chances of gut related diseases.
