People often use mathematical models to address a physical/biological problem. Likewise, they often claim their models are "simple" even when it is non-trivial to many readers. Any views on what you consider key features of a "simple model"? Is a mathematical model considered "simple" as a result of its ease of implementation within a specific program or does its simplicity have something to do with the number of estimable parameters, quantifiable variables, and few variables? I am curious what you think!
