I would like to conduct a PSA, but I have a variable - probability of amblyopia risk factors = 0.19 which made up of a sub-set of eye conditions, that are not mutually exclusive i.e. a person can have more than one risk factor. I would like to apply a distribution to this variable to conduct a PSA, but not sure what distribution would be ideal. Beta distribution doesn't seem appropriate because u (mean)*n (sample size) > r (the number of events). Can anyone speak to this?
