Being man, we have many responsibilities for the lag behind people of the society . And being teacher, educated personalities we have more to do fore them.
We can teach them
We can arrange their food and shelter
We can raise funds for their well-beings , for their housing, health, future supports, etc.
The poor, illiterate people of the third world are considered at some potential source for personal/ political gains by many people.
As for example:
1. They are considered as VOTE BANK by many political parties in so called democratic countries.
2. They are considered as CONSUMERS of worst type of produces by the national and international business communities.
3. A few people of such communities (by blood, not for economic or social condition) use them for personal gain for generations.
The poor people identify such fellows as 'self' and supply fuel for benefit of such persons, but their condition never changed.
(in India, preferred people for generations are mostly of that type).
4. More illiterate poor = more easy vote. So such section of people are encouraged for production of more and more offspring (idiot voters).
5. It is not easy to convince any intentional bad notion to an educated, well to do fellow. But people of this section can be convinced easily without raising any question, if properly planned.
So, young people of that section are USED for almost all CRIMINAL activities.
In that condition, I think no politician actually want any change of condition of these people from heart. Some suger coating may be there. But no long lasting or permanent change of conditions by any such aid may not be possible.
Development of consciousness of these people is the only way.

Yes, man does not come in he world only with their mouth and stomach ! They bring limbs to work with. Difference the asset distribution, illiteracy , irregularities , capitalism behavior of the society people , racism, masterminding of wrong political motivation and related other things are the main causes of being poor in the society.

Whatever you can do for them. No need monetary support. Some times emotional and social support will be more important than monetary support.

We each adopt different 'roles' in everyday situations, these roles change with the situation; we all have numerous roles in life. We can imagine those roles as hats that we wear at appropriate times (e.g. son, brother, teacher, employee). These roles have "implied" on social behaviour. The role of human in society is both significant and valuable. It has far-reaching influence on the society, we lives in and no other personality can have an influence more profound than that of a human. Society peoples are deeply affected by the member of society love and affection, character, competence, and moral commitment. A popular society member becomes a model for his/her Life. The all society people try to follow their role model members in his/her manners, style of conversation and his/her get up. He/she is their ideal. The Society members tend to determine their aims in life and their future plans, in consultation with their role model. Therefore, a good and visionary society member can play a prominent role in making the future of his/her society member while as a corrupt society member can only harm his/her society much more seriously and perverted judiciary, army, police, bureaucracy, politicians or technocrats. A corrupt and incompetent society member is not only a bad individual, but also an embodiment of a corrupt and incompetent generation. A nation with corrupt society member is a nation at risk and hence society people lag behind or poor. Therefore, when you are living in society we should live as a role model for society.

Definitely, poor people are the ladders world-wide and it is manipulated mostly in the democratic(!) countries as their is hardly democracy in practice ! Democracy means ruled by the minority number of people where politics is a simple dirty game. Sir, we are not surely out of democracy but want to get the real essence of the same.
Social protection is basic responsibility of Parliament/Judiciary/National Institutions in democratic system via reinforcing social value, economic value as per the need of system.
I have had academic vision and shared using scientific networking with scientific observation so that a balance between society and human value shall be produced by democracy.
One of the best ways to help the poor and needy people is to give them a hand up rather than a hand out. All of us need to work collectively to help the poor. There are a number of ways we can contribute... We can help the poor by donating food, clothing, or toiletries to a local shelter or giving books to poor children. We can also donate our time by volunteering in a community development programme.
I have heard of this saying: "Charity begins at Home", but, my mother taught me to practice it in real. I have house helpers, and one of them was married at a very young age. The maid has seen a troubled life before and after her marriage. My mother and I help her by supplying basic ration like milk, rice, sugar, salt, pulses and all, every month so that she can save some of her monthly salary for her rainy days. My mother teaches her children basic English and mathematics.
We should, as highly skilled and qualified researchers and academics, act constantly, to be socially responsible, to address the issues in community and society in general.
I do personally fight against corruption and bribery in Serbia.
We all must follow some extent social responsibility towards such ignored people.
The delay of the person on time and keeping the other party waiting are bad habits of anger. The delay is often interpreted as selfishness or lack of interest by the first party; but when you look deeply into the psychology of delay and the late person's thinking, we will know that this delay may be a defect that needs more than one way to correct it, not just selfishness Or lack of interest
The person who is repeatedly delayed makes the reputation is not good. Due to lack of punctuality and natural reactions to delay, people feel that they can not trust you and that they are not qualified to depend on you
Time is very valuable; wasting time means wasting money, in the chronic delay of some expensive people
Delaying meeting times 10 or 15 minutes consistently is a significant drain on productive capacity; chronic delay has a cumulative effect; delaying one person will not only affect productivity reduction; it will affect the productivity of other colleagues.

From my heart I want to participate in any project that helps social equality. It seems unworthy that, in the XXI century, there is so much social inequality, there are so many people dying of hunger, while food is wasted unconsciously.
Having a high level academic education is a privilege. For this reason, we are people who can execute great ideas, not only scientific ones. If that were the case, let's stay at home ... Education is the most powerful tool for a people. Being educated can express themselves and not settle for the life they lead. There is a big difference. Consciousness is created, it awakens and channels intelligence. It is better to take actions to do nothing. The great powers do not care that people die of hunger and thirst. We are human beings capable of doing a lot. We need to organize internationally to be effective and work in a network of socially active researchers.

Fund raising and being a member of Fund raising societies for needy people is more convenient and time affordable
empower them by transformative education to enrich them to be able to change the status quo. awareness is empowering, help them to understand their conditions and problems. then, teach them to think critically. they can make some communities for betterments.
The most important for poor people is to feel loved by others. I talk to the poor people around as if they were good friends. Sometimes I buy for them lunch or dinner.
The better thing some one can do to a people of that kind is to let them know they are capable of leading a higher standard of living but through education. A substandard living is a problem of a sizable portion of any society, but that can be considerably reduced when these people are made aware of that and properly educated so that they seek better and work for it.
Recent studies have shown that not feeling happy at work is one of the most important reasons for escaping early attendance. Which is confirmed by a study of the University of Manchester, the British, as I found that happy in their work are attending on time

As long as as people are kept uneducated either by accident or design they are denied the ability to make informed decisions should opportunities arise which require that ability.
They may then rely on others who may not have their best interests at heart.
Education may also allow one to find a way out of poverty and reliance.
they are the fuel of revolutions, the meals of death, and the victims of the wars. As well they are the target of politicians promises...
They have the right to live,eat, drink clean water, to study, and to get the healthcare...
as a doctor I treat them free, and did operations for them free too.
A good way is to teach them some skills including being literate, developing vocational or hands-on skills, etc. Knowledge is power and having acquired some knowledge and skills they can be empowered to try new things and make positive changes. It is just not enough to wait for the government to act. I have volunteered in my life to provide people skills and resources.
The problem now is that the lag has been very widespread in many countries, and for its control there is a lot of work and great support from governments.

I do contribute to the people in community by organizing and teaching them through different ICT continuing education programmes , free of charge.
Sunday Schools play a great charitable role in society. They feed, teach and try to provide the lag with everything that they need spiritually and materially. Surely, every human being should live a dignified life.It depends on the social benefits and care of the government and servants of people. It differs from country to country.
