I usually infect human lung fibroblasts with VZV - but VZV OKA vaccine strain is not growing well in this cells - I am looking for other cell line
Years ago I was using VERO cells.

Human foreskin fibroblasts and MRC-5 cells can be used for varicella zoster infection. P-Oka can be passaged six times in human foreskin fibroblasts and stored at −70°C.
Thank you Sandir Yes vOKA was obtained partially on MRC5 - but looks like we do not have real MRC5 in here- I'll try to order it from ATCC
