Polymerase chain reaction, PCR, is an in-vitro technique for amplification of a region of DNA whose sequence is known or which lies between two regions of known sequence
I don't think answering your homework questions is the best use of RG.
If this is a purely academic question then the following:
1. Sequence the product to confirm the identity of the DNA from which PCR fragment was derived
2. Clone into an expression vector if an open reading frame to express a fragment of protein for biochemical studies
There are many many (more) applications...
So many possibilities!
But this sounds like an attempt to get answers to a homework question. Go read your textbook, look at product manuals for PCR kits, etc.
