Scholars help me! I have done the Rietveld refinement by using GSAS-II software. How can I plot the refined data in Origin? I have tried many times but I couldn't do it.
If you have completed Rietveld refinement using GSAS-II software and want to plot the refined data in Origin, there are a few steps you can follow. First, you need to export the data from the GSAS-II project. To do this, go to the "Export" tab and select "Export Powder Pattern" from the dropdown menu. In the "Export Powder Pattern" dialog box, choose the output format and options you want, then click "Export" to save the data as a file.
Next, open Origin and create a new graph window. Import the exported data file using the "File" > "Import" > "ASCII" option from the menu. Follow the import wizard to specify the data format and import the data into Origin.
Once the data is imported, you can customize the plot as desired, such as changing the axis scales, adding labels and titles, or adjusting the plot style. Finally, save the graph as desired using the "File" > "Save As" option. By following these steps, you can plot the refined data from your Rietveld refinement in Origin and create a professional-looking graph to present your results.
Kaushik Shandilya gave the best answer, and this is just valid to versions of Origin that have already implemented python. I am not sure if it was Origin 2018 or 2021, but in older versions, it will not work
