The open fire massacre in the NZ mosque, the fire in Notre Dame and now the churches in Sri Lanka. What can be the probable reasons for churches and mosques to become the most attacked places these days?
In my opinion, the main reason for these attacks is religious intolerance that exists in different communities in almost all countries. Radical Islam fanatics believe that the only religion that should exist in the world is the Islam. On the contrary, extreme Catholic/ Christian believe that Islam, and also the Judaism, represent a threat to their religious believe and, for this reason, the practice of these religions should be prohibited in their communities.
It is essential to single out that non-radical religious believer within the most important religions usually assume a tolerance position concerning the followers of other religions, and can live together without any difficulty within the same communities.
In my opinion, the reasons are very varied, from the religious extremes, to the desire to eliminate all traits, which unites humanity with the most sublime that is God. So eliminating those who could get closer to Him is a way to eliminate God from their lives, wanting to plant the seed of this in the whole world.
