Parental refusal of vaccines is a growing a concern for the increased occurrence of vaccine preventable diseases in children. A number of studies have looked into the reasons that parents refuse, delay, or are hesitant to vaccinate their child(ren). In recent years, the issue of rejection of vaccination has started to threaten public health. For example; In 2018, the number of measles cases reported by WHO in the European Region was over 82,000. The number of deaths caused by measles was 72, in the same year. Interestingly; the cases of measles began to be expressed in thousands in some developed European countries.
