I have a part in a project collaborating with some scientist from Mexico investigating the in situ reduction of As5 to As3 using Synchrotron radiation at the Advance Photon Source in Chicago in Glomus spp. as well as soil science looking at toxic metals, remediation, and nutrients in soils. Big nerdy fun toys for a scientist!!!

I am working on seed-born mycoflora of Soybeans from the guinea savannah agro-ecology of Nigeria. I want to index the fungi and determine their pathological significance especially as they affect viability of soybean seeds and nutrient content. I am also working on the use of natural remedy to the problem of plant diseases.
Currently i am evaluating the effect of Essential oils from Ocimum gratissimum leaves harvested at different time of the day on the control of soybean seed-borne fungi.
