I'm culturing fibroblast GM-637 sv-40 immortalized and the cells are doing well, but some lumps are frequent in my culture, something that doesn't happen when I culture any other cell. What can this be? I know that rounded bright cells are apoptotic cells, but this cell culture has plenty of them!!!

Try passaging them a few times and they might disappear. When we setup cells from liquid N2, not all cells survive and depending upon the viability, some cells die and stay as clumps. For me, they disappear with subsequent passages.
This is the 4th passage. I thought this option would fix too.
If you are worried about dead cells, try a simple trypan blue exclusion experiment the next time you split your cells. That'll give you a fair idea about the viability of your cells. Also, are these cells attached or floating. If they are floating, could you give these cells a few PBS washes?
These are apoptotic cells; the membrane blebbing is very obvious?
The two cells with high birefringence may be dividing cells, but I would have expected more mitotic indexes than visible. They are poorly/non-attached cells, and thus probably dying.
