thanks for your advice. I think it can be good idea to compare dip coating with other techniques, such as plasma spray and electrospinning. Please advise, what kind of characterisation I can use after coating. Best regards

plasma spray can be used to coat the implant surface. The ceramic and alloy coatings can be fabricated on the implant. The main characterisation techniques are SEM and XRD. The cross-scection of the as- prepared coatings must be prepared and it is difficult.

The  characterisation techniques are also XPS

 and SIMS

mechanical properties of sprayed coating should be taken into account, because in plasma spray process the usual defect such as voids and micro-crack are undeniable. Also, Adhesive strength is so important.

the plasma spray parameters such as spray distance, power and so on can influence  on mechanical and physical properties of coating.

scratch test is one of the way , but in my idea best way is tensile test
