What are the possible reasons for green color in propolis crude fat, extracted using Soxhlet apparatus?

Dear all,

We are extracting the crude fat of propolis using hexane in Soxhlet apparatus, but the color of fat extract is coming green which is not desirable normally. Can propolis fat extract be green in color? If no, what are the possible reasons for green color in fat extract? Is it the indication of any impurity in propolis sample?
