Hi everyone, I would like to ask, in PBMC when pulsed by peptide, what are the cells that present the peptide to the T cells? Is it B cell or monocyte? And is it memory T cells that are activated by this method? If there are references attached I would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 (possibly 3) professional APCs in the PBMC fraction.
1) Dendritic Cells (very few of them)
2) B-cells
3) Monocytes - will need to differentiate into macrophages in order to be APCs
All 3 of them can do the antigen presentation to the T-cells.

Majority of APC would be
1. B cells
2 monocytes (differentiated into DC or macrophages)
DCs are rarely present in PBMCs.
