Antigen testing (RDT) has been used in India for testing of symptomatic individuals and those who come positive by this test are being labeled as positive. However, those symptomatic patients who come negative on RDT have to be confirmed by RT-PCR testing. But what about those individuals who are high-risk contacts of a COVID-19 positive patient and still do not have any symptoms. can they be tested once between day 5 and day 10 as per the policy of RT-PCR testing for asymptomatic high-risk contacts given by ICMR.
