Literature has evidenced that wrist is a difficult joint to characterize regarding kinetics (forces), considering that it allows not only for the classic motions but also for limited longitudinal rotation, combined motions and independent forearm rotation (see attached link). Thus, it has been also evidenced a complex mechanics (Berger, 1996). I guess that in order to examine some forces acting on the wrist, you would need to use an effective technique (i.e., EMG) and to limit the degrees of freedom by using a simple task (i.e., Buchanan, 1993).

I.A. Kapandji has a great analysis of wrist's function in his classic textbook "Physiology of the joints". Someone has to start from there and then analyse further. This way more elaborate analysis will be easier to understand.
