We are using DNA collection kits for saliva samples from DNA-GENOTEK company and the product is Oragene-500. However, they purchased new product named OG-600 and I wonder what is the major differences between these two products? Does anybody tried both of them? We collected our samples by using OG-500 previously and would like to order more from the company. Would it be okay to use better version kit(?) and include results of both products?

I read them and most important difference that have my attention was 600 series can be used for whole genome sequence.

I checked the data and actually OG-500 can be also used for GWAS. The company representer told me that there is no major differences. Actually, OG-600 is renewed product of OG-500.

both kit look like same. All of the protocols same. I understand OG 600 new series product. I think small develops in OG 600 from OG 500.
