You have great tutorials in youtube that are very practical because you can learn by doing and watching.

Try textbooks.I learned a lot from them especially those with much examples.Also as Lopes mentioned,YouTube is very useful and benefial.

I recommend Todman and Dugard's "Approaching Multivariate Statistics" for an introduction to many different multivariate statistics with SPSS. While there is a 2nd edition, the older version is still highly relevant and will work just fine with current SPSS versions.

On youtube search a channel of James Gaskin, there you would find many videos on Regression.

In Books, Beginners level, George & Mallery, SPSS for windows step by step published by Pearson.

For online tutorials, google UCLA and find "SPSS Guide" on home page

Thank you all for your suggestions. Sometimes in developing countries we do not have ready access to textbooks. I appreciate the advice by Rahul for online UCLA tutorials and James Gaskin videos in youtube.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I found the UCLA guide as suggested by Pratap very helpful for beginners as a basic. Also as suggested by Valery http://www.stat-help.com is helpful.

You can also have a look at " A Handbook of Statistical Analyses using SPSS " by Sabine Landau and Brian S. Everitt.

It's a good textbook with examples.

I suggest you to explore help tutorial in SPSS, i think it will be helpful to learn Regression Analysis. Besides that, if you find difficulties to find textbook, http://scholar.google.fr/ is also helpful if you've not tried yet.

In terms of SPSS many Master's level programs in the United States will provide such a course as a requirement in a Social Science program or Public Health curriculum.  I had SPSS at the Master's level and Medical Statistic at the Bachelors level.  You may want to see if you can find a course to provide you with assistance.  Try Coursera  at https://www.coursera.org they are usually free or for a certificate $39 for the duration of the course.  Because you need hands-on practice to learn how to define your data set I recommend an instructional tool which can provide this type of assistance.

There are many sources to learn, Youtube can be a good sources. SPSS has itself a good tutorial, Andy Field has written a very good book.

For beginners George and Mallery have also did a good work.

For mid level Prof. J. P. Varma from India, has also written two good books published from Springer and John Wiley-Blackwell. You can search his books on Google play store also.

I believe, learning Statistics without a good mentor is like taking medicine from a trainee-doctor ....

ANDY FIELD is a really good writer. Start with him!
