There is no fact as an answer for your qestion. But I have found that if one use the total pressure, total temperature, and the flow direction as the inlet condition for a 2D case, and the other hand set the static exit pressure, a very gentle solution will be captured and you may find the minimum convergence fluctuations.
There is not an appropriate answer of your question although your question dosent have sense because the boundary condition is depends on the formulation of problems as well as desire condition some use pressure inlet or velocity inlet and pressure outlet or outflow so its depends if you have doubts regarding placing boundary condition the try couple of that and go for test run then after visualize their results then you ill able to fix up your confusion.
