Life can be complex and challenging. To overcome its existential barriers, one should have psychological resilience, hope for tomorrow, and optimistic thinking. In your perspective, what are the benefits of optimistic thinking?
An increase in overall well being. The optimism can create more balance in thoughts, restful sleep patterns and positive frequencies (unseen). All of which create harmony across the world (butterfly effect).
Thank you for your insights. Yes, optimism is a source of inner peace, balanced thinking, and a growth mindset. It can strengthen emotional resilience, self-determination, and help to go through challenges with hope and inspiration.
I guess optimism may lead one to overcome their limits and sometimes achieve things they previously would've considered impossible, which if they remained apathetic or especially pessimistic about they wouldn't even have tried. If we assume that life is complex, then sometimes we don't really know our limits and the complexities of the tasks given to us, there may be no clear answer to the question 'is task X 'objectively doable' by person Y'. So if we approach the task with a positive and optimistic attitude, we may swing the probabilities in our favour.
Dear Haris Shekeris, thank you for your insights. Optimistic thinking can make a huge difference, turning hardships into determination, enhancing self-confidence, and fostering creative reasoning. The existential complexities of life can be challenging and psychologically draining. However, with the help of an optimistic mindset, and and higher-order thinking, problems may be viewed as opportunities. In all cases, it's important to keep the sense of proportion: being overly optimistic or pessimistic can equally distort cognitive clarity, making the horizons of the human mind narrow and foggy. Balancing optimism with realism could be the best approach.
