Nasalisation is a french surgical technique for massive excision of sinus polyposis, aiming to make all sinuses & nostrils as one cavity. Majority of sinus surgeons prefer FESS. Of my gathered experience during working with different sinus surgeons, I noted that FESS is lesser aggressive than Nasalisation but followed by recurrence of polyposis requiring multiple revision FESS which gave finally a sinus condition resembling that of post-Nasalisation. Would you give your own experience, if possible with research study.
Nasalisation in DSNP doesnot gaurrante of non recyrrence of polypoidal mucosal changes,iterferes ith proper functions of the nose(;breath,olfact....),destroys the anatomic landmarks endonasaly

I actually did not perform nasalisation but Idid more than 500 FESS due to variant pathologies including of course DSNP ,mdial maxillectomy,transphenoidal hypophysectomy,endoscopic DCR.....
So ,It is my experience in FESS, It is better than nasalisation which I did not do.
Would you inform about the outcome of your 500 FESS regarding olfact., recurrence & how many revisions were?
