In lane 1 and 2 there are many monomorphic bands as they are at the same position on the gel, however their amounts are different. There are some polymorphic bands also. You can analyze them manually or using a gel doc software also
They are monomorphic. If the bands are at different positions across the lanes, they are polymorphic. Different sized DNA pieces move at differing rates (as per size) and hence will occupy different positions on the gel. Across lanes, meaning each lane is a genotype, polymorphism will tell you that there are differences among the genotypes at the DNA level. Will these differences show up as differing phenotypes opens up newer areas of investigation.
