What are ACTH-R, 17bHSD type 5 and Cytochrome b5 antibodies that work on sheep paraffin embedded tissues? I'm looking at adrenal morphology using immunohistochemsitry in sheep adrenal cortices and really struggling to find a relevant or specific antibody that works in sheep! I have already tried one from Santa-Cruz and it ended up in no reactivity even after trying the recommended antibody dilutions. Your suggestions are much appreciated!

I don't have an experiences with an antibodies that you use but I have an experiences with a sheep pituitary and cortex tissue fixated in NBF or Bouins. Usual I use rabbit or mouse abs and they are fine on sheep tissue. The abs don't have to react with the sheep and still they can be good. Choose monoclonal rather then polyclonal and always buy with the blocking peptide if is available. My last suggestion is to find another company but it is only my personal feeling.
