Maybe someone could help me..I need to measure adipose tissue and lean mass at CT scan. I downloaded Osirix-lite, but when I try to use the plug in for segmentation the program closes.
Could you help me to find a solution?..or if you know other free software to assess body compartments from radiologic imaging.

If I remember right, I have in somewhere a manuscript describing the procedure to calculate the liver volume...It isn't exactly the same you requested, but maybe it could be useful as well!

It is difficult to segment soft tissues because the values of pixels are similar each other.
I am also the contributor of Horos/OsiriX based DICOM Viewer 'HorliX'.
We will transfer the auto-segment function into HorliX in the near future.
